Residents’ social meeting due to third runway announcement
Dear Residents,
We would like to inform you that the previously scheduled meeting with Kier and Heathrow has been postponed. This meeting was initially arranged to provide residents with an opportunity to raise individual concerns on issues such as asbestos, trickle vents, and project timelines.
However, following the government’s recent announcement of its support for the third runway at Heathrow, the community’s priorities have shifted. Many residents now seek further information on the airport’s expansion, but the representatives originally invited to the meeting would not be in a position to address these concerns. Therefore, we believe it is in the best interest of all residents to postpone the meeting and arrange a session with the appropriate individuals who can provide accurate and relevant information.
The original venue was chosen to facilitate open discussions and allow residents to voice their concerns in an informal setting. Given the increased interest in the Heathrow expansion, we will now be organizing a larger meeting in a hall to accommodate more attendees and ensure that all concerns are properly addressed.
We appreciate your understanding and will provide further details on the new meeting date and venue in due course.
