Keeping Stanwell Moor Clean
On 17 November 2023 we had the Heathrow Rangers and volunteers in our village doing litter picking – they collected 15 bags . We would like to thank them for their efforts.
Four bags were collected from Spout Lane alone. This on top of the excellent work done by Shane the litter picker. Having a group of people doing it at the same time can make a massive difference. Thanks to Claire Mack for her work on supporting and promoting litter picking. See the Initiatives page for more information.

Public Spaces Protection Order
rom May 2024 Stanwell Moor has the benefit of a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) banning Heathrow cabs on its roads. The village has been lobbying Spelthorne Borough Council and Heathrow Airport for action against private hire cabs clogging its roads, littering its streets and abusing residents. This is positive news demonstrating that our village can confidently make its case for action with key stakeholders responding to its needs.
