Training residents to use the AED

Defibrillator training

Defibrillator training, also known as AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training, is a course designed to teach individuals how to use an AED device effectively in emergency situations involving cardiac arrest.

We have a defibrillator installed at The Anchor and training was organised at Stanwell Moor Village Hall on 2 November 2024 for residents.

The AED Course

Defibrillator training covered basic life support skills and CPR, and the proper operation of an AED device;

The training helped to build confidence and instill the knowledge needed to use an AED quickly and correctly in critical situations.

We thank Spelthorne Borough Council for providing the training and Claire Mack for organising it in the Village Hall.

  • Quieter Neighbourhood Support Scheme – We urgently Need Your Feedback!

    Stanwell Moor Community Watch has received several complaints from residents regarding the Heathrow Quieter Neighbourhood Support Scheme. We reached out to the Community Engagement team at Heathrow Airport to raise these with them.

    They have agreed to meet with us. We will be raising a range of issues with the scheme with the Operational Impacts and Community Engagement Lead and theSenior Community Engagement Manager.

    To help us with this they have requested that we collate all resident complaints and feedback and forward them by Monday.

    Please share your comments on this post or email them to info@stanwellmoor.org

    Thank you for your cooperation. By raising the concerns we want to ensure existing and new residents benefiting from the scheme receive a better service.
