Training residents to use the AED
AED in the village
Defibrillator training
Defibrillator training, also known as AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training, is a course designed to teach individuals how to use an AED device effectively in emergency situations involving cardiac arrest.
We have a defibrillator installed at The Anchor and training was organised at Stanwell Moor Village Hall on 2 November 2024 for residents.
The AED Course
Defibrillator training covered basic life support skills and CPR, and the proper operation of an AED device;
The training helped to build confidence and instill the knowledge needed to use an AED quickly and correctly in critical situations.
We thank Spelthorne Borough Council for providing the training and Claire Mack for organising it in the Village Hall.
