Sunday morning clean up with Spelthorne Litter Pickers

Thank you to Spelthorne Litter Pickers for joining us on Sunday 18 February 2024 in Stanwell Moor, for our first shared group pick this year. In total we had 24 people cleaning up.

Claire Mack from the Committee helped to organise their visit using our village hall. After all that hard work fabulous cakes were laid on as well.

Three groups worked around the village. One of those was Spout Lane, used by private hire cars was messy with bottles of taxi tango, fast food packaging, aerosol, alcohol cans and bottles. In addition to fly tipping seventeen refuse bags were filled. And a christmas tree.
