A year of tackling nuisance parking around Heathrow airport by CISHA
The Heathrow Area Transport Forum, part of Council for the Independent Scrutiny of Heathrow Airport (CISHA), working with Heathrow’s Local Community Forum, pulled together all the stakeholders who are needed to sort the problem of private hire cabs, rogue meet and greet drivers, and employee parking in community villages. It has published an annual report on tackling nuisance parking around Heathrow airport.
Please read this annual report from CISHA that highlights solutions and further ideas over the past year to combat the parking problem in the airport villages. The report includes the successful Public Spaces Protection Order in Spelthorne, and acknowledges the need to an Authorised Vehicle Area (AVA) near Terminals 4 and 5 (on the south west side of the airport in so doing giving relief to our village).
