Earth Day 19 April 2024 – improving our environment
Earth Day 2024. Join us on 19 April 2024.
Earth Day is a community driven event to improve the environment of our village. We are taking part in a global event to bring it local to our village. Join us to take part in Earth Day.
The day’s activities will commence at The Anchor with a brief get-together at 11:30 AM. We will discuss the cleanup plan, ensuring everyone is ready and excited to make a positive impact. Earth Day 2024 is our opportunity to showcase the best of Stanwell Moor, turning every corner of our village into a shining example of community action.
Join the Clean up
From 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, we’ll embark on our village cleanup journey. This is more than just cleaning up; it’s about coming together as a community, sharing laughs, and creating a cleaner, greener village for us all.
Celebrate together
After the cleanup, we will return to The Anchor. We want to hear your share stories, and the satisfaction of a job well done. It’s a chance to relax, reflect, and revel in the shared sense of accomplishment.
The Anchor are hosting the event supported by Stanwell Moor Residents Association.
We have the support of Surrey County Council, Spelthorne Borough Council, and Heathrow Airport Limited.
Join us for Earth Day:
· 11.30am: meet at The Anchor
· 12.00-2.00pm: litter picking with Heathrow Rangers
· 2.00-2.45pm: Awards and thanks to the Heathrow Rangers.

- Bridleway 51
