Public Spaces Protection Order
rom May 2024 Stanwell Moor has the benefit of a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) banning Heathrow cabs on its roads. The village has been lobbying Spelthorne Borough Council and Heathrow Airport for action against private hire cabs clogging its roads, littering its streets and abusing residents. This is positive news demonstrating that our village can confidently make its case for action with key stakeholders responding to its needs.

Heathrow Airport acts on nuisance parking in surrounding villages. After much lobbying from residents about nuisance parking in its villages Heathrow Airport has acted to address the problem with a new reporting portal.

Enough is Enough – stopping anti-social behaviour by private hire cab drivers. Stanwell Moor is getting a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) to help clear its streets from anti-social behaviour by some private hire cab users. The residents of the village made their voices heard in a recent Spelthorne Borough Council consultation, who have listened and taken action.
